Death is difficult, most negative Karma due to lack of awareness, mind is like wild monkey, wild elephant
The fundamental principles in which how one individual can develop through this spiritual path which shared by Buddha and carried on by the Tibetans for a thousand years Tibetan tradition Tibetan Buddhism and basically it is the experience of the Buddha in principle (otherwise? unimproved?) And if I understand correctly we have covered the first second and the third and we are still on the fourth and fifth, understanding that this most certainly is true may I discard every level of wrong and generate an infinite message of goodness empower me to be thus continually aware. (He speaks Tibetan) so about that we talked about impermanence and that I think we’d dealt with that in quite detail and we don’t want to talk continuously on that anymore will just move what happens after that? That is the biggest question the things that I will talk to you and things wherever I talk you is I’m only talking to you on the basis of the information that I have its not on the basis of my experience of being reincarnation because I don’t have any experience and I don’t know anything about it what happens after that I have no idea A) I did not die yet B) I might have died before but I don’t remember anything so I can’t talk to you on that basis I always have the difficulty with the publishers and they always wanted me to write on reincarnation on the basis of my experience they’re happy to give me quite good huge amount of advance but always I have nothing to say they get on that all the time so that’s what is it is my problem so the information whatever I can share here is on the basis of information given by the Buddha and all other enlightened beings so basically what Buddha tells us is after death you don’t disappear and I think it’s sort of true and I don’t think anybody will have a problem to accept that after death you do not just disappear you continue. And what is accompanying you and though it’s not your friends it’s not your enemies and not our securities, not our life savings not our life insurance (he laughs) all of this doesn’t go with us so then what does go with us only the karma that we have because we are responsible what we did and so therefore Karma goes with us (he speaks Tibetan) so both positive karma as well as negative karma goes with us just like a body and a shadow it follows you so this is very important for us to understand that’s what Buddha said important to understand why if we understand that we can make preparation for ourselves now because when you wanted to do something at that time and a lot of people I must tell you that a lot of people are waiting for the great opportunity they say whenever I am dying, I am going to do this and I am going to do that they’re waiting for a lot of opportunity but when the opportunity really comes to us it is very hard for us to do exactly what we plan to do the chances are not likely you’re not going to do it what you hope to do what you plan to do because we don’t have much control we don’t have control of our own consciousness at that moment our consciousness we don’t have control of our consciousness at that moment so that state that is a very important point so when you don’t have control of our mind and then you can’t expect to have control of anything else so chances of planning and take this opportunity of death and do this and do that probably ninety nine point.nine percent not going to work. I can tell you that much ninety nine point .nine percent it may be disappointing to some people but it’s not going to work simply because we don’t have it’s very straightforward simply we don’t have awareness at that time our awareness is very weak our mind is a very subtle mind at that time very subtle so you don’t get it you are not going to understand you not going to get it you simply going to go in zoom in darkness and in out in the light that’s what’s going to happen so therefore the chances of thinking I’m going to do this I am going to do that is ninety nine point nine percent not going to work so then what can we do what can we do we can do now when we have things in our head we have control in our head at this moment both our mind as well as are everything basically no one can force you to do anything you don’t want to do and basically no one can force you to do something that you don’t want to do and basically no one can stop you what you wanted to do that’s what truly you have control in your head at this moment taking the opportunity what we have in our head right now and preparing when such a period called death when that comes when we wanted to shape our future life we wanted to do right now it is not that time that time will be a little too late so needed to do right now that’s what it is. And the way and how you do it it is because of your karma understanding how positive and negative karma trails after you like a shadow by understanding that so you know if you have more positive karma then you’re bound to have perfect good life and if you have more negative karma you’re bound to have a perfect negative life that’s as simple as that there’s no mystery there is no magic it is on the ground very simple straightforward simple nature simply we are responsible to our self therefore whatever we want to shape our future it is only we can do it nobody else can do it nobody else can impose on us life nobody can impose on us anything it is in our own hand. So what do I do now to make my future better to make my future life better is the awareness very simple awareness awareness of what I’m thinking awareness of what my mind is doing and awareness of what my body is doing and awareness of what my speech is up to awareness particularly mind the mind is just like a wild monkey the traditional example given is that it is like a wild monkey or a wild elephant the wild monkey if you let the monkey in the art gallery the wild monkey what is the monkey going to do you know right it’s like that within our body that’s how it functions so the awareness can turn the monkey and make the monkey not to be so so much mischievous destroying those art objects that you have within you. Or it’s like a wild elephant if you don’t control the wild elephant the wild elephant will knock down everybody that comes on the way you know that right? Because the wild elephant runs out and they start stepping on anybody who comes around simply they put you under their feet and make everybody flat like a tortilla or something or they catch with the trunk and throw it away and that’s what the wild elephant does so awareness is like a hook you know in the traditional India even today if you look in India the wild elephant they catch them and they train them the way they training them is the is a very strong powerful iron hook they put under the ear somewhere around there they took the ear and that’s how they train the elephant and awareness is like a hook and the mind is like an elephant so the awareness if they keep on hitting it over here the elephant gets pain and the elephant begins to get the message and see why it can’t be so wild like that and the elephant begins to (bring?) and it’s just like that because our mind most of our negative karma we created because a lack of awareness we don’t exactly know what we are doing and we will do all sorts of funny things that get people hurt no one really not nice people like us here (he laughs and audience laughs) and the nice people no one really wants to hurt anybody you know that no one really nice to hurt anybody but in your action you get hurt people get hurt people get upset people get angry they fight with you you because they get hurt but no one really wants to hurt but they get hurt because of a lack of awareness lack of awareness maybe not knowing it maybe knowing it but not paying attention and that’s how people get hurt right thank you at least for agreeing with me. So the key when you hurt somebody you are creating negativity right where would you draw the line of negativity and positivity it is the line where you draw where you started hurting other people creating trouble for the other people with or without the mind of meanness with or without sometimes people really want to be mean and they will make sure where you hurt the most they will do it they will give you that and that is the meanness but sometimes they don’t know anything what they’re doing but they do something and you get hurt so with or without meanness with meanness if they hurt you hurt anybody if I be mean and try to hurt you that action of hurting is a very strong negativity for me and if I hurt you by not knowing I have negative action however it is less 1545
Perfect negative karma - bedbug example, hurting people
And then even afterwards even I hurt you if I appreciate that I have been able to hurt you I rejoice yeah good that’s what you deserve it so if you do that then I get a more stronger negativity and oh I’m sorry I really hurt you I don’t mean it but I’m really sorry what can I do to make up for you whatever for me so if you do that there is still negativity but less so even the negativity and the positive both very much depend on our motivation and our action and the completion three minor points if you have the traditional Tibetan example is very interesting this is a good one really I don’t know whether it works here or not because they give you the example of bedbugs you don’t have much here do you? None whatsoever? Some? Oh you get fleas in your bed sometimes right It will work the same way. so the idea is if you just you know get a nice good sleep and started getting itchy with the bedbugs bugging you or the fleas bugging you whatever it is and you try to forget it and try to get out of the way once or twice you’d you get out and you really begin to get mad and after a little while you don’t care about sleeping or sleepiness you want to throw your blankets out and get lights on and maybe you also get some flashlights on top of that and begin to search wherever that tiny little bedbug or flee whatever it is you don’t mind standing there for half an hour looking for it and finally you going to find that tiny little one jumping or crawling whatever it is and you say “Hey hear you are”! and you begin to catch that person, person? The being there oh I’m sorry they begin to catch that being there and started putting in front of you and started giving them tortured now now it’s my turn right and so whatever you want to do put them in the bottle or put it in between your two fingers okay and started rubbing it a little bit more you just don’t want them to let it go you’ve given me enough suffering so now it’s my turn now right keep on rubbing it for long enough and finally you squeeze it in between your two nails or whatever or against a table and you know what you’re going to get a tiny little blood a tiny little top drop of blood you get and then you feel happy satisfied so this is a good example of good negative karma anger, action of torturing, and finally satisfied to see tiny little blood lost out of the tiny little body so that provides us the perfect negative karma it is perfect motivation anger the echo of that anger carried through when you are rubbing it and torturing it and finally we see to it that the person, person again I’m sorry, the beings most precious thing that they have is life squeezing that out of them it is the biggest hurt you can give to that being right? If that being if it’s not a mosquito or a bedbug and if it is something a little bigger then me begin to shock a little bit but as tiny as that level we are not so much surprised also it’s almost acceptable and actually what’s happening is it is a perfect negative karma that we’re creating we are giving the maximum punishment in our control whatever we could give and that person is paying again sorry that being is paying the maximum price they could pay so that is the perfect example of negative karma for small ones then you go bigger the bigger animals and human beings and so and forth and that is how negatives we produce even if we don’t do it if we think of doing it we think I’m going to get him down there and I’m going to torture him and squeeze him and even if you have thought it creates negativities so the awareness can prevent that awareness can say of thought is coming up oh yeah that thought is coming up because it is my addiction my addiction for killing my addiction for torturing. people have addictions the biggest price we have to pay out of the negativities is not just because we lose life for life or eye for eye is not the biggest price the biggest price what we pay is the addiction we get addicted we get addicted people who’ve been killing the fly get addicted and after a little while that person become expert and any fly that comes along that person has to get him and hit it and kill it they will get addicted for that pay no attention and happy to get rid of that tiny fly or cockroach all this we do these are our negativities and we pay the same price we’ve will switch the body that little bedbug would become a human being I will become the bedbug and he will get me later and that’s what I mean I’m responsible what my dates are that is exactly what it means. Well I don’t like the bedbug I can’t be a very generous to let them eat my flesh and blood and so I just picked it up and put him in a little bottle and throw him outside it’s a reasonable act after all we have a human body and right now are human beings we have that capacity we do but we really don’t want to hurt that being but at the same time I want to protect my flesh and blood right? So I’m not so good enough to be generous but I don’t mind picking it up put it in something and leave it outside that’s okay that’s a great but what can you do better than that. So I think that’s where we draw the line it doesn’t mean you have to let the bug eat you and let the cockroach completely fill your apartment it doesn’t mean that you have to protect and maintain our own body so there the line is I’m protecting my body so I don’t want him in my bed and eating me up right? So pick it up and throw outside its okay. So the line is drawn there I protect myself ago I don’t want to harm that being so I took him out and throw him out to where he belongs to (Rimpoche laughs) I don’t know whether he belongs or not but I don’t want them in my room so throw him out so I don’t think that is a negativity and that’s how we draw a line. That goes for same thing killing, stealing and sexual misconduct. Sexual misconduct is another one and abusiveness of the sexual reality that is the real sexual misconduct whatever the tradition may tell you it’s different but the true sexual misconduct is a sexual abuses that we encounter all the time you read over here and Judy will tell over there so anyway so you know it’s part of the news all of the time we hear and we see we read and that is another one because you are hurting the other person you’re hurting as long as you’re hurting it is abusive and that is a negativity. And basically Buddha gives like three examples of body and four by speech and three by mind. And speech also lying and this is really not the used car dealers usual white lie I’m not talking about that I’m talking about a big black lie which makes you the person hurt do used car dealers probably can hurt? (Rimpoche laughs) but somehow it is commonly accepted that used car sales person told you so if you believe that you’re a fool so probably that’s what it is. So lying cheating through lie and creating disharmony between groups using harsh words and making other people hurt by using harsh words or very smooth word which makes the people hurt too its not necessarily has to be the harsh alone a very smooth word can make you hurt to. When I went to (LaDock?) that’s about fifteen years ago and I saw a couple of monasteries and there’s a Lama looks very nice looks very kind and always smile and a big smile and nice and all this and then when he started talking to the monks and they started calling him (Jam Sucter) meaning he is very smooth outside but inside is like the sandpaper (Rimpoche laughs) 2941
Spiritual practice is within you, you can do at any time don’t say you are busy do it even if you only have 2 minutes.
so that’s why I call it a (Jam Sucter?) smooth sandpaper so they used to call him smooth sandpaper so he hurts everybody he’s always terrible but afterwards everyone says he’s terrible but he was always nice and sweet and smiley type but anything that he would say something he would simply say in a very nice way you can’t fight back probably he bow down to you and tell you so nicely but really mean one sort of you know they do that that’s not harsh words but makes other people hurt worse so people do that politicians do that business people do that all the time anyway and right here people do that and that’s not harsh however it creates pain for the other makes the other people hurt miserably in that there one of those negativities anyway basically it ten it very much looks like the ten Commandments and sometimes I wonder whether Buddha had some conference call during that period (audience less) because the ten Commandments in the West and Buddha introduced the ten negativities in the East they may have had a conference call maybe we are not aware of they may have it whatever the reason may be very similar to that but one thing in this Buddhism it is very similar the wrong thing is wrong the right thing is right for one thing different here is we are responsible to ourselves that is different and no one can (an issue?) for anything we get into trouble because of our own deeds and whether you get into trouble or whether you created a negative or whether you get into trouble or not the trouble and the negative are impermanent all our impermanent so if you get into trouble the trouble is not permanent you’re going to get out of it because it is impermanent if you created a negativity we don’t have to feel hopeless or helpless because it is impermanent you can change it you can make different do you see this is the difference you don’t depend on anybody he don’t append on organized monasteries or Dharma centers or churches or temples or anything to purify your negativities you can do it by yourself inside the four walls of your own bedroom you can do it you can make a difference to yourself because actually truly speaking there’s not a single human being who did not create negativity including Buddha they do create negativity because as a human being we do we do make mistakes we do create negativities that does not mean we reached to the end of the world that does not mean we are hopeless or helpless at the mercy of a third being no! I created a mistake I made a mistake I created negativities I can purify all my negativities but I created I am responsible if I change my life by not purifying by not taking care of I may pay the price but even though I pay my price that life is going to be impermanent I’m not fixed forever either the right side or the wrong side and that is what that means (he speaks Tibetan) so after death ones good and evil deeds trail after one like the shadow trails the body that’s what it means so by understanding this then we can make a difference to our life we try to avoid the wrong thing doing and then when we did it we can purify it there is no such negativity we cannot purify this is according to Buddha that’s what it is Buddha shared the story of (Ungulimala?) somebody who cut nine hundred and ninety nine human beings thumbs and was wearing them as a rosary and coming for liberation because the wrong spiritual master told him if you can kill one thousand human beings and bring their thumbs to me I will liberate you. The guy did after nine hundred ninety nine and then at that time he can’t find the last one and then he had an encounter with the Buddha and he has a choice he take his mother or Buddha so finally he found the Buddha he said and now I don’t have to take my mother so go out and get this guy here. So he chased after the Buddha and Buddha survived and Buddha talked to him and communicated to him and finally brought him to his own place and taught him short path and let him meditate and he became an Arhat perfection free from all neurosis free from all suffering even after nine hundred ninety nine human beings he killed. If that could do Buddha gives examples the negativities are like a cloud we are like the sky the wind blows the clouds this way or that way the sky will remain it is not in our nature the negatives we do we created it is temporary and a lot of people think I’ve done something bad so I must suffer no you don’t have to suffer if you choose you want to suffer go ahead welcome its your own choice enjoy (audience laughs) but if you don’t want to you don’t have to neither in this life nor in your future life that is the Buddha’s message if you understand that is most certainly is true then you have to generate awareness awareness of watching yourself of watching your own consciousness don’t let your crazy monkey jumping jump around in the natural history Museum okay nor don’t let your own wild elephant step over those little babies if you can bring and you can control your own monkey or elephant then you’re okay that is the way and how you have to that is your spiritual practice by the way if you think you want a spiritual practice and have to wear some kind of mala across your neck and dress differently and do something funny you’re mistaken even if you have a mala you have to hide it I have a mala and I don’t wear it I don’t show you “Ah, I have a mala!” I don’t do that I don’t say I’m a practitioner I try to put nice dress whether it is I try to put a tie on tonight, if I don’t I’ll try to wear something clean and nice rather than whatever (Rimpoche less) not say too much so that is your spiritual path that is how you do work that is how you look after yourself spiritually you get it? that is really the way and how you look after yourself spiritually it’s not the other way around not the other way around so the last word here is generate infinite masses of goodness so if you have awareness naturally you discard the wrongdoing by discarding the wrongdoing automatically we generate goodness are you with me? You don’t have to say I’m going to generate goodness so therefore I must shut my door therefore I must light my candle I must light my incense and I must sit with crossed legs and I must... Ohhh not me! So you don’t have to do that if you do that probably not doing any good to you if you’re not looking after your wild elephant or the wild monkey looking after your wild elephant and your wild monkey is your spiritual practice remember that nothing else your spiritual practice does not depend on anybody else does not remain in anywhere else is not locked inside any temple not certainly in the pockets of the Buddha or Jesus it is within you and you can do it anytime anyway where you don’t need a lot of time I’m very busy right now and when my project is over and then I’m going to do it it’s not going to work sir! your project will continue one after another will come you go on the ocean try to sit there try to finish the wave and then you come back home and go to bed you sit there until five in the morning or five in the morning until next year same time it will continuously go right?. This is the traditional Tibetan teachers will give you that as an example the good usual American example is you can wait till the cows come home (crowd less) so that’s what’s going to happen so if you say I’m going to finish this project and then I’m going to do it wait till come home that it! So therefore don’t wait until finish this project keep on doing it keep on doing it as soon as you can where ever you can if you can do it for two minutes go ahead great, if you have five minutes go ahead and do it if you have an hour you are lucky do it. 4203
Being Genuine
So normally we have all the times that we really need it everybody tell you I’m extremely busy but we all have all the time to enjoy gossip right? To watch TV. To watch TV that you’re not supposed to watch anyway and very busy on computer whatever you may be doing it who knows what you are doing on computer right? So that is how busy we are so if we care for ourselves if we care for our future if we care that’s the way it is according to Buddha that’s how we shape our future shaping our future positive way is our spiritual work at this moment we are simply concerned only ourselves we’re not yet reached to the level of looking after and caring and helping others yet helping others and caring for others is wonderful indeed we need it for sure but who is taking care of who is helping the helper must be able to help your self and if you cannot help yourself you expecting to help others is a little strange little strange its like the usual Hindu Buddhist Judeo Christian priest they tell you you can’t do that you shall not do that you shall not do that you shall not eat you know we always joke with the Buddhist priest they will tell you you should not eat after lunch and you see them all nice at dinner you see them always so just like that you can’t do it so you must be able to help yourself and these are the ways that you can help yourself once you begin to help yourself once you begin to realize you do do that you have to bring other people in the picture and share that with you and that’s how you help yourself that’s what you repeat the same thing you know what I mean? You do it it makes a difference to you and you take that message and share with you say if you do this that will happen to you and that’s how you really help it you know what I mean? And you do something else and tell them do something else that does not work that’s not helping that is whatever it is showbiz or whatever. (Blank spot on tape) what ever they produce poetry music joke whatever and they give relief of the suffering and that’s (?) that’s also a good thing that gives you pleasure that gives you relief from suffering that’s what the music does right that’s why we go to see a movie that’s what we go to concert right anyway I talk too much (crowd laughs) so I’d better keep my mouth shut the next verse here sensual gluttony is the gateway to suffering is not worthy of a lucid mind empower me to realize the shortcomings of Samsara and to give birth to the great wish for the blissful freedom I’m saving that for the next week I hope Aura will be here next week and share that with you she’s been here before a couple of times talking to you and I couldn’t get in so next Thursday I will not be here is that going to be ending on Thursday? They’ll be another Thursday is that right? So that’s that and do you have any questions or should I read the third paragraph I don’t think it’s very keen to read it so if you have any questions I’ll be happy to talk to you. Yes lady?
Audience: I have a question about there is a paradox you want to change yourself and acting better responding to things positively instead of negatively but what happens if you pat yourself on the back too much and you’re going to make people sick because they are going to think you are not that good you have to give yourself reinforcement constantly to keep that response positive instead of negative but how do you keep from getting... letting ego get too much control?
Rimpoche: well you have to be genuine, genuine from the bottom of your heart anything kindness compassion you want to share with others anything that you want to become positive genuine from the bottom of your heart that’s very important and if you’re genuine from the bottom of your heart ego will not boost at all it becomes true and the moment you’re boosting your ego that means you’re not genuine you try to make it look like you’re genuine you try to act like you’re genuine you try to act like something different from what you really are and that makes the ego boost. Yes change must instead of responding negative you respond with positive but it has to be sincere the sincerity you can’t say I can’t do it that way I have to do it a good way so I’m going to do it a good way and give a little smile that’s not genuine that’s not genuine the genuineness here is I must respond with the positive and I think very carefully I sort of eat that idea I swallow that idea with me before I act out and I swallow that I digest that I let that go through my bloodstream and then manifest it out and when you do that it becomes genuine so simply well I can’t respond negatively I must respond positively then say ha ha ha even that other people get angry you say ha ha and that makes the person get more angry more difficultly, another problem is because it’s not really adopted in our own mind stream completely, that is my (?) So the idea must get it chew eat it digest goes through your bloodstream and then comes out and then it becomes genuine. At least that’s what I was told that ‘s I believe how it functions. Yes lady?
Audience: yes we would like to know how you recognize your karma?
Rimpoche: recognize?
Audience: how do you know what you have to do to repair because you came from and of life and you carry the negative karma right?.
Rimpoche: as well as positive karma! Both
audience: how do you recognize that, the bad things that you carry on 5156
Rimpoche: you don’t you don’t recognize your karma until it becomes active when it becomes active you know this is acting it is activated its functioning until then it’s sleeping when it’s sleeping it’s sort of imprint form it is not active so therefore you don’t really recognize but whether you recognize or don’t recognize what I was told how to purify those negative things that I did what I remember here I will strongly generate regret and I purify and those of previous life probably I don’t know probably I don’t remember but I’m sure I have a lot of them I tried to purify them together try to block all the holes.
More on being genuine
Try not to leave stones unturned that’s what you do I don’t think you have to watch and try to recognize and they say Hey here you are and that’s my (mice?) And probably you can’t change that way it doesn’t work that way that little I know so therefore if you keep on try to keep on try to recognize karma it’s difficult there are zillions of them countless trillions of them mind you even if we sit here one hour how many thoughts going to go in our head and every thought creates karma right so then think about our previous lives multiple zillions of life’s not years right so it is countless is it hopeless? No is it countless sure and you try to work with that and try to recognize where and when out of question that’s what Buddha said you’re very welcome so what I would like to share with you tonight is like what we have been sort of talking here and doing this and many of you have been constantly coming here week after week so I do hope it make some difference to your life and the way and how it makes a difference to your life is the information what you get is chew it digest it and work it through your bloodstream and make it work for you that’s what you really have to do awareness is like that that’s how you raise your awareness you going to say I’m going to wait here I’m going to catch my wrong thoughts you go in there you sit there until the cows come home you’re not going to catch anyone so what you do is you build habitually bring the awareness within you that’s how you work and that’s how you correct how you think how you act how you deal with people how you would like to be yourself so everything try to be genuine sincere and that is otherwise you know a lot of people do that a lot of people say I’m not going to get angry with you you want me to get upset right but I know better I’m not going to get angry with you and keep on smiling there is not positive action at all to tell you the truth a lot of people like to do that a lot of people say that my way this is my dharma no you’re mistaken totally you doing this stuff to protect yourself you’re doing that just to hurt the other person more you’re doing that just so the other person have more pain but in reality you’re creating negativity you are not being nice person a lot of people do that a lot of people say oh getting angry is not good so I’m not going to get angry no matter whatever he says or she says I’m going to sit there and smile at him (audience laughs) (like we torture or do something?) Sorry, now and that’s not the way to become genuine you eat information swallow it digest it let it function from inside and that is the real thing and I would like to also inform you the very similar thing what were doing is I’m going to do this year in our summer retreat at Jewel heart usually you know we do have two retreats in a year one is in the summer we call it joyful retreat because it’s a nice summer in Michigan on the lake with all sorts of varieties of activities so we call that the joyful retreat and then we have one in the winter called miserable retreat (audience laughs) it is closed retreat and it is a very restricted retreat and we start early morning and so and forth and it’s a cold Michigan winter and it’s miserable so we call that the miserable retreat so the miserable retreat what we normally do is we do the Vajrayana activities the persons who have properly established a foundation such as this is only restricted to that that is the miserable retreat. And summer the joyful retreat is open to everybody and I would like to extend an invitation to each and everyone of you this is going to be only at the end of August I believe the twenty fourth to the thirty first and it’s in Michigan and we begin that retreat for how many years ago about seven years ago we begin with really very few people the first retreat we had was in your house right so it’s like we started with a very small number of twenty or thirty people and last year it was over two hundred people so they’re very helpful actually very useful and this year it particularly I would like to go through this not this particular text but a little detail in that the subject of how the individual really begins with your spiritual life and how you go through what steps are involved and how you get over try to do that completely but very short like two or three hours in the morning with meditation and afterwards they giving you information and afternoon will be divided into small groups led by the senior people who are done through that and very small groups we will have a group discussion questions and answers and in the evening the group leaders will report in general together general discussions more specific discussions more teachings and I’m trying to do complete Lam Rim in seven days with discussion and meditation and teaching which I never did we get a little bit here but not complete that way we hope to do that way we also eliminate external visitors like last year we had the healing llama come and he healed everybody I don’t know whether he healed or not but we enjoyed their singing and like that we have visitors like that next year we would like to do the Buddhism and psychology so this year were going to do the perfect path in that way so there will be no not so much external speakers coming in and it is all within Jewel heart and hopefully it’ll be a nice one so I am trying to inform you now so that people can make their plans because if I tell you in July and say it is going to be at the end of August it is very hard so I try to inform everybody in March right? try to inform so if you like it if you feel like it if your interest to yourself there may be an opportunity from my point I would like to extend the invitation to everybody whether you come or not doesn’t make a difference to me (he laughs) so that’s it I shouldn’t have said that I withdraw that I will welcome everybody okay that is nice (Rimpoche and audience laughs) and with that I would like to excuse there doesn’t seem to be no questions tonight so can I quit? Okay
